Volunteer of the Year
Congratulations to Tracy Stuart, our Alloway School District Volunteer of the Year! Thank you for all your service! Please read Mrs. Stuart's departing sentiments to our school community below.

Can you believe it…? The end of the 2017/2018 school year is here!!

Monday night, I had the honor of presenting two 8th grade graduates with Citizenship Awards, on behalf of the Alloway Township PTA. I wish the entire Alloway class of 2018 all the best in their next chapter! Go… Be Great, Do Great Things!

For the past four years, as the school year was wrapping up, I have posted an end of year message thanking everyone for their help through the year, and wishing everyone a great summer. This year, my message may be a bit longer. This is because on June 30th, my final term as the PTA President will officially end and there are so many things I want to say and people I want to recognize and thank.

First, I must recognize my fellow officers, both past and present. It has been an absolute pleasure serving with all of you. You have given so much of your time and energy to make the PTA events and activities both fun and successful! Each of you has and continually makes the PTA better!

Next, I would like to give a shout out to the Staff at the Alloway School. Over the years, I have called on so many people, for so many things!
Deanna and Barb, you have always been so helpful! The fact that I still get greeted with smiles when I come in, after everything I’ve asked of you through the years, amazes me. Thank you for everything! You two have made me laugh more times than I can count!

Thank you to the Board of Education and Administration for allowing the PTA to operate and provide so many fun events and activities for our students, staff and community. Your support is appreciated!

Thank you to the cafeteria staff who has helped by ensuring we have the necessary supplies for our various events, and for always being so quick to offer help!

I’m sure it’s no surprise to everyone, when I say I have kept the custodial staff on their toes! Majority of our events and activities require set up and clean up…some more extensive than others. I just want to say how much I appreciate how much work they’ve done to help the PTA!

Teachers (past and present), I’m just going to say it – I have nothing but the highest respect for individuals who choose teaching as their profession. You spend your days giving so much of yourself, to help other peoples’ children grow and achieve their best. We have a wonderful group of teachers and classroom aides. Alloway is truly lucky. Thank you for all you do for the students, and thank you for all you’ve done for the me and the PTA.
I would like to give special recognition to Karen Wildermuth, for serving as the PTA’s Teacher Liaison…. For several years! Karen has always been one of the PTA’s biggest supporters and we have been lucky to have her.

Thank you to all the PTA members who have volunteered, chaired committees, served on committees, and/or supported our various events and activities. The Alloway PTA does so many good things, because we have good people willing to help! I am so happy that we were able to provide so many opportunities for people to get involved. I hope that those who have volunteered in the past, will volunteer again in the future. And I hope those who haven’t in the past, will take advantage of opportunities to do so in the future.

Thank you to the various local business owners who have partnered with the Alloway PTA. Your commitment to the school and community are commendable. I will remain a supporter of your businesses and will remember to share with others, how I’ve witnessed your generosity towards the PTA and Alloway School.

I am thankful to my family. Without a doubt, they’ve served right along with me! They’ve been supportive and helpful and I’m very lucky to have them.
Lastly, I want to thank the students of Alloway School. It has meant so much to me, to share the past few years with you. My favorite part of being PTA President was getting to know the students. The smiles, high fives and waves are all things I’ll remember fondly. There’s nothing more rewarding to me, than to walk down the hall and have a student thank you or tell you how much they enjoyed something that you helped provide to them. It’s why I joined the PTA and why I became an Officer.

I wish the Alloway PTA continued success!

Lastly, I want to wish everyone a relaxing, fun, and memorable summer!
